TJ's Performance

Let me give you some history. I learned how to stick weld when I was about 12. My Father showed me how to on a weight bench project that we built. I did not show much interest in continuing to weld though. However, growing up, my Father instilled in me that I fix things and if something does not exist you make it. His motto is: "don't just replace parts to repair something, repair it with craftsmanship". Not till I was in my 30's I really became interested in fabrication. Growing up, I was into bikes, boats, cars, trucks and engines. I rebuilt my first small block chevy at 16.

Fast Forward:
After loosing my job as an IT specialist in a Financial institution right after 9/11, I began to take more interest in fabrication. I then acquired a new MIG welder and had a 7 x 10 mini-lathe. I designed some parts and had a friend CNC them for me and I sold them on E-bay. I then was able to buy a real lathe and a Bridgeport Milling Machine with digital readout. Then I kept on investing in tools and taking on small welding and fabrication jobs. Currently I am back in the IT segment of the market and I still fabricate nights and weekends. This what you are about to see is the work I have done. Many of the projects are the first time fabrication attempts which have turned out successfully as you can see.
