Steve's Cheyene Jet Boat
This is my good friend's Cheyene Jet Boat. We think it is a 1977. He bought it as a basket case. I mean this thing was in bad shape. I do not have any before pictures. It took about three years to get it to the pic you see here.

This pic was taken a few years ago. Since then the old 396 blew up and the next few pics are of the 500 plus Cubic Inch Big Block Chevy getting ready for some roosting.
| This is the new BBC that started life as a 454. It has been stroked by a Callies crank, Eagle Rods, Ultradye Solid cam and ported oval port heads with large Manley valves all fired my MSD 7AL and Pro-billet dist. I built the wire harness from scratch and plumbed the whole boat. I made a custom fuel log for it as well. | This is Tony helping out after the motor was installed. It was time to get it rigged and ready for its first test. The engine builder built the motor from carb to pan. He does not however know how to set the dist. because it was 180 degrees off. I was not happy to say the least, neither was the owner. |
